Explain the change and what caused it (use back side if necessary). In the book I think that the person that changed the most was the main character. I think that he changed the most from the start of the book because in the start of the book he and his friends were hanging out listening to rap music and in that dance club and just being kids until the war came then everything changed they didn’t have any of their rap music or their dance club so they had to change their ways from being kids to not having any of that stuff. When they had to fight in the war they had to change even more they had to go from being kids to being kids with nothing now being kids that have been trained to kill or be killed. So in the book they get sent somewhere where they can get back in school and start to be kids again and all of the time that he is in the car he is planning to steal the guards guns and go back to the war because that it what is ingrained into their minds is to fight and they don’t want to go back to being a kid again now that they have been in the war for so long that is what they like to do. So I think that the main character has changed the most because he had to change from having everything to nothing then being forced to learn military stuff and forget about everything else that happened to him in his life and just fight for his country. So the real factor why he had to change is because they had war in their country and they had to move out and lose everything and be forced into a war that at first he didn’t want to go into but now to be fights and don’t even want to go back that is the biggest change in the book how much he changed in so little time and he will always be ingrained with war in his mind. |
